, double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Plastic Surgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Southern California where he graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Exercise Physiology. He was an All-American and four-year member of the men's varsity swimming team. Dr. Trussler received numerous scholar athlete awards during his undergraduate years at USC. He went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Southern California and graduated Suma Cum Laude. He was a Deans Scholar and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society. After completing his general surgery residency at The University of Michigan, he obtained his plastic surgery training at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Trussler completed the aesthetic surgery fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.
